Anti-Bullying & Child Protection Policy International Kenshido Federation (IKF)
1. Policy Statement
The International Kenshido Federation (IKF) is fully committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all children and young participants.
IKF applies a zero-tolerance policy toward bullying, harassment, abuse, or any form of violence, whether physical, verbal, psychological, or digital.
2. Definition of Bullying
Bullying includes, but is not limited to:
- Physical aggression or intimidation
- Verbal abuse, insults, or threats
- Psychological pressure or humiliation
- Social exclusion or discrimination
- Cyberbullying (online or digital harassment)
Bullying may occur between:
- Athletes
- Coaches and athletes
- Officials and athletes
- Peers or adults
3. Child Protection Commitment
The Federation commits to:
- Prioritizing the physical and psychological safety of minors
- Creating age-appropriate training and competition environments
- Preventing abuse, neglect, or exploitation
- Ensuring adult responsibility and accountability
4. Responsibilities of IKF Members
All IKF members, including coaches, officials, and representatives, must:
- Treat children with dignity and respect
- Act as positive role models
- Avoid any form of abusive or inappropriate behavior
- Intervene immediately when bullying is suspected
- Report any safeguarding concerns without delay
- Failure to act is considered a serious violation.
5. Safeguarding Measures
IKF implements the following measures:
- Clear rules limiting physical contact
- Mandatory supervision during activities
- Strict codes of conduct for adults
- Controlled communication with minors
- Safe competition and training rules
- Psychological monitoring by referees and coaches
6. Reporting Procedures
Any suspicion or incident of bullying or abuse must be reported to:
- The event referee or coach
- The IKF Safeguarding Officer
- The IKF Disciplinary Committee
- Reports may be submitted confidentially.
- Retaliation against whistleblowers is strictly prohibited.
7. Immediate Protective Actions
When a concern is raised, IKF may:
- Remove the child from the activity
- Suspend the alleged offender
- Initiate a formal investigation
- Inform parents or guardians
- Cooperate with competent authorities when required
8. Disciplinary Consequences
Violations of this policy may result in:
- Written warnings
- Suspension
- License withdrawal
- Permanent ban from IKF activities
In cases involving serious abuse, IKF will immediately notify public authorities.
9. Education & Prevention
IKF promotes prevention through:
- Education of coaches and officials
- Awareness programs for athletes and parents
- Ethical training and safeguarding workshops

Every child has the right to train, compete, and grow in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
