The Code of Ethics of the International Kenshido Federation (IKF) establishes the ethical principles and standards of conduct that govern all IKF activities.

This Code aims to:

* Safeguard athletes, especially children and youth
* Promote trust and credibility at national and international levels

2. Scope of Application

This Code applies to:
* Athletes
* Coaches and instructors
* Referees and judges
* Officials and committee members
* International representatives
* Affiliated clubs and organizations
* Compliance with this Code is mandatory.

3. Fundamental Ethical Principles

All IKF members shall adhere to the following principles:

* Act honestly and transparently
* Avoid conflicts of interest
* Reject corruption, fraud, or manipulation

3.2 Respect

* Respect opponents, officials, and the public
* Respect cultural diversity and human dignity
* Reject discrimination of any kind

* Reject cheating and unsporting behavior
* Accept decisions of referees and officials

4. Protection of Children and Youth

IKF applies zero tolerance toward any form of abuse.

All members must:
* Protect minors from physical, psychological, or sexual harm
* Respect child-protection rules and safeguarding policies
* Report any suspected abuse or misconduct
* Failure to comply will result in severe disciplinary sanctions.

5. Health and Safety Responsibility

IKF prioritizes athlete well-being.

Members must:
* Respect medical decisions
* Follow safety and medical protocols
* Avoid actions that endanger others
* No competitive or financial interest may override health and safety.

6. Professional Conduct

All IKF representatives must:
* Act responsibly and professionally
* Use appropriate language and behavior
* Represent IKF positively in public and online
* Harassment, intimidation, or abuse is strictly prohibited.

7. Confidentiality and Data Protection

Members must:
* Respect confidentiality of personal and medical data
* Use information only for legitimate IKF purposes
* Comply with applicable data protection laws

8. Compliance and Reporting

All members have a duty to:
* Comply with IKF Rules, Statutes, and Regulations
* Report ethical or legal violations
* Cooperate with investigations
* Retaliation against whistleblowers is prohibited.

9. Disciplinary Measures

Violations of this Code may result in:
* Warnings
* Suspension
* License withdrawal
* Permanent ban (in serious cases)
* Disciplinary actions are applied in accordance with IKF procedures and due process.

10. Acceptance of the Code

Participation in any IKF activity constitutes full acceptance of this Code of Ethics.
Ignorance of the Code does not exempt from responsibility.
