The International Kenshido Federation (IKF) is governed by strict legal and ethical principles that ensure integrity, fairness, and responsibility across all its activities.

IKF is committed to:

* Compliance with national and international laws applicable to non-profit and sports organizations
* Respect for human rights, equality, and non-discrimination
* Protection of children, youth, and vulnerable participants
* Transparency in governance and decision-making
* Zero tolerance for corruption, abuse, or unethical conduct

All members, officials, coaches, referees, and representatives of IKF are required to:

* Act with honesty, respect, and professionalism
* Follow IKF Rules, Statutes, and Codes of Conduct
* Promote fair play and sportsmanship
* Protect the physical and psychological well-being of athletes
* Any violation of legal or ethical standards may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or permanent exclusion from IKF activities.
* Ethics are the foundation of credibility, and legality is the basis of trust.

The Statutes of the International Kenshido Federation (IKF) constitute the supreme internal legal framework of the Federation.

They define:

* The legal status and objectives of IKF
* The non-profit and educational nature of the Federation
* Membership conditions and rights
* Governance structure and decision-making bodies
* Roles and responsibilities of officials and committees
* Disciplinary authority and procedures
* Financial management and accountability
* International representation and affiliation

The Statutes ensure that IKF operates with:

* Legal certainty
* Institutional stability
* Democratic governance principles
* Long-term sustainability
All IKF members and affiliated entities are bound by the Statutes and must comply fully with their provisions.
The Statutes may be amended only by the competent IKF governing bodies, in accordance with established procedures and applicable laws.
